In this video, I break down the total cost of my 14,000 KM solo motorcycle journey across India — from Trivandrum to Kaho in Arunachal Pradesh.

We’ll go over fuel expenses, stay and food costs, bike maintenance, permits, trek charges, and a few unexpected expenses that popped up along the way. Everything I share is based on approximate numbers, intended to give you a realistic idea of what such a trip could cost if you’re planning something similar.

I also talk about my strategies for saving money on the road, staying healthy, and finding budget-friendly accommodations — all while traveling with valuable camera gear.

This trip has been a dream of mine for 4 years, and while I couldn’t explore the entire Northeast in depth, it’s a journey I’ll never forget — and one I hope to continue someday.
