It was originally arranged for choir by Farman Purnama and orchestra arrangement by Meidi Ratnasari.

it's about a sweet young man who is loved by all the people in his village (he is called Mande, means dear one), marries a lovely young woman but right afterwards he has to leave his village to be a soldier to defend his country. It's about the farewell at a harbour with the village people. All the people call his name from a distance as he leaves the harbour.
