Getting into the Halloween spirit musically is pretty easy with metal....there's so much to choose from! I've recently done a couple of Helloween videos, but wanted to showcase a few riffs from some other deserving bands with "spooky" riffs.

1st up is Metal Church and the track "Watch The Children Pray."
Such a great track from The Dark album to get your blood chilling. Super cool clean guitar intro! Guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof wrote some of the best classic metal back in the day and is still going strong with Metal Church now! Standard tuning.

We also have the following:
"Masque Of The Red Death" by Crimson Glory. Awesome track and killer riff from the Transcendence album. Tune down a half step for this one.

"Damien" by Savatage. The amazing Criss Oliva left us guitar players a goldmine of great riffs and this is one of them. From the Edge Of Thorns record, this one is in Drop D tuning.

"The Family Ghost" by King Diamond. There were seriously SO many riffs I could have chosen...KD needs a whole video dedicated to those great riffs and tunes. But this one will do for now. It's trickier than it sounds! Guitarists Andy LaRocque and Michael Denner are tearing it up on this track from the Abigail album. Standard tuning.

"See You In Hell" by Grim Reaper. Guitarist Nick Bowcott, vocalist Steve Grimmett and the and boys wrote some great classic metal in the 80's. Simple but glorious! We're back in standard tuning for this one.
