Acne Scar Consultation with Dr. Qazi

Have you ever wondered what an acne scar consultation with me is like?

I begin by diagnosing the condition of your scars. As you can see in this video, I use angled lighting so I can accurately analyze the depth of the scars. I also gently pull on the skin to determine where the more tethered scars are located. To break up thesee scars I will perform precision subcision where I safely release the scars underneath the skin. Being that the acne scars destroyed a lot of the fat in this patient's face, he is going to require a significant amount of volume restoration which we can safely and effectively do through fillers + lasers.



I discuss my findings with the patients and thoroughly explain the treatment plan we are going to create for them. For this particular patient, who was also our giveaway winner, we built the following regimen:

TCA Cross at the base of each of his scars

Precise Subcision to break up the tethered scars

Bellafill to replenish lost volume and stimulate collagen production

Combination of Lasers to resurface the skin
