Mountain Goat Double-Header Part 1

I took my 11-year-old son, Kolter, on an unforgettable mountain goat hunting adventure in northern British Columbia. Joining us was Kolter’s hockey coach, Bob, who was also hunting. We started the journey by flying in a Super Cub, landing on a remote gravel strip next to a river. From there, we faced steep, unforgiving terrain as we climbed higher into the mountains in search of goats. The landscape was breathtaking, but the challenges were real. Despite giving it everything we had, the first leg of the hunt ended without success. This is the start of an adventure that tested us all.
