TRAVEL DAY TO DELHI, INDIA: 12 hour layover in Paris, train to the Eiffel Tower

After completing visiting all 50 States in the United States and selling our 2013 Ford Transit Connect micro camper van, we set out on our very first international trip since 2018! We leave from our home of Buffalo, New York to visit the amazing country of India. On the way there, we have a 12 hour layover in Paris where we are able to take a train into the city and climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower!

How to get to the Eiffel Tower from the Charles de Gaulle Airport:
1. Take the RER B towards Saint-Rémy-des-Chevreuses and stop at Saint Michel-Notre-Dame RER Station
2. Then take the RER C towards Pontoise to Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel RER Station
3. Make your way up the stairs out of the subway station and follow the Seine River upstream to the Eiffel Tower!
(The CDG to Eiffel Tower train journey takes 1 hour and 20 minutes (1 hour of train RER B and RER C + 15-20 minutes walk), 12€ one way)
-The left luggage facility is located in Terminal 2, near the railway station
