InterContinental Osaka: Junior Suite 大阪洲際飯店：小套房

This is my first time staying at InterContinental Osaka. I used Chase free night voucher together with points to redeem one night standard guest room. I was lucky to get the room upgraded to junior suite when I checked in. The junior suite has a living room separate from the bedroom. The view, however, is obstructed by the nearby buildings. Upon entering the room, there is a luggage storage area to the right and a bathroom to the left, complete with a toilet, bathtub, and shower. The living room featured a work desk and a large sofa, and the bedroom also had a small sofa for lounging, making the space spacious and comfortable.

As I have the annual lounge pass, I was directed to the club lounge for check-in upon arrival. The lounge typically offered freshly squeezed juices, coffee, tea, and simple snacks like dried fruits and pastries. The drink menu can be accessed by scanning a QR code on the table. During the afternoon tea period, they served a generous sandwich platter that was quite enjoyable. Happy hour included cocktails and mocktails, a variety of self-serve and individually portioned snacks, though no hot food options were available. The fruit platter was my favorite part.

Being a Diamond member, I opted for the restaurant breakfast as the welcome gift. The buffet breakfast had a relatively standard selection with no particularly impressive dishes. After finishing the buffet breakfast, I also enjoyed breakfast in the lounge, which offered a choice between steak and Japanese breakfast as the main course. There were self-serve options such as salads, bread, cold appetizers, and fruit desserts, and the quality of the food seemed better than the buffet restaurant.

InterContinental Ambassador is offered 2,000 JPY food credit. It can be used for hotel merchandise in the cafe on the first floor. I used it to purchase an InterContinental Osaka tote bag as souvenir.

The hotel has a spacious fitness center and an indoor pool, as well as a small sauna. The facilities were not crowded, providing a comfortable overall experience. Check-out was at three o'clock, and I completed it at the club lounge, where I could once again enjoy the afternoon tea. I spent most of my stay in the lounge, and the lounge staff were very friendly and accommodating, although their English skills were a bit lacking, leading to some communication misunderstandings. I also hope that the breakfast buffet's food selection can be improved. Overall, it was a decent stay experience.

首次入住大阪洲際飯店，用免房券加上點數兌換基本房一晚，很幸運在辦理入住時被升到小套房，有隔開的客廳和臥室，然而景觀被附近大樓給遮住。門口進來右側有個衣物間可擺放行李，左側是浴室，有廁所、浴缸和淋浴間。客廳有辦公桌和大沙發，客房也有一組小沙發可躺坐，空間很寬廣舒適。

因為我有酒廊通行證，抵達飯店時便被帶到俱樂部酒廊辦理登記入住。酒廊平日提供現打果汁、咖啡、茶和簡單的乾果麵包小點心，飲料選單可掃描桌上的QR Code瀏覽，下午茶時段則提供很豐盛的三明治點心盤，還不錯吃。快樂時光則有調酒、無酒精調飲等，以及多款自取和單次提供的小食，並無熱食，水果盤是我最喜歡的一道。

身為鑽石會員，我選擇餐廳早餐為歡迎禮。自助餐早餐菜色比較一般，沒有特別印象深刻的料理，我吃完自助餐的早餐後再去酒廊享用早餐，酒廊早餐提供牛排和日式早餐兩項主餐的選擇，自取的菜色有沙拉、麵包、冷盤小菜和水果甜點，餐的品質感覺比自助餐廳還好。

洲際大使會員有2000日圓的餐飲額度，可以在一樓咖啡廳購買飯店週邊商品，我使用該額度買了大阪洲際的手提袋做紀念。

飯店設施有很大的健身房和室內泳池，還有不算大的三溫暖，使用的人不多，所以整體感覺很舒適。退房時間是三點，我到俱樂部酒廊辦理退房，並且還可再次享用下午茶。這次入住基本上都待在酒廊，酒廊服務人員非常親切友善，但英語能力有點不足以至於某些溝通上造成誤解，也希望自助餐早餐的菜色能再加強，整體來說是還不錯的入住體驗。
