Developing collection in the canter almost becomes an obsession for dressage riders from 3rd level and above. In this video we watch as Laura Graves teaches collecting the canter WITHOUT doing a canter pirouette on the circle. The key to success in this exercise is always being in control of the hind end of the horse.
This video was filmed at the Robert Dover Horsemastership Program in Wellington, Florida at the Global Dressage Festival in 2016.
