RFK Jr. announces ban on artificial food dyes in major FDA policy shift

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and FDA Commissioner Dr. Mary Makary announced a nationwide ban on petroleum-based food dyes.

The move aims to phase out synthetic additives found in popular snacks, cereals, and drinks.
