Hey guys ! It’s been rather difficult trying to film some interesting content for you lately as the weather has been miserable 🥲. The roads are already covered in gravel and salt but that doesn’t mean fun in a FWD hot hatch stops ! Using the front limited slip differential correctly can make driving exciting and rewarding even in very low grip conditions. I hope you enjoy the video 🙂
Car specs and mods:
Golf GTI TCR 2.0 TSI 213kw (290hp) 7DSG (DQ381)
Tyres: 225/40/18 Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3
• HG Motorsport Ego-X OPF back valved exhaust system with TÜV approval
• AMA Exhaust OPF Delete (stock catalytic converter still installed)
• Racingline R600 intake + Racingline turbo elbow
• TTRS lower control arm bushings
• GTI Clubsport S wheel hub carriers/knuckes (-2 degrees of negative camber on the front axle)
• Racingline Subframe brace
Other than these modifications, the car is stock when it comes to engine and transmission software, although it definitely feels like it has more power than the quoted HP figures would suggest.
