When we first met him, he was extremely aggressive and scared. He trusted no one and asked only for cigarettes and cola. Years of living on the streets, trauma, and mental health struggles had made him believe that anyone who approached him was an enemy. But behind that anger was a human being who needed help, not judgment.
Our team spent hours walking with him, talking calmly, and trying to earn his trust. Rescue is never easy, especially when fear and pain have taken over someone’s life. With patience, compassion, and the support of local people, we were finally able to help him begin his transformation.
This video shows that even the most difficult situations can change with kindness. Rescue is not about force — it is about understanding, care, and hope.
