This is a production of The Leominster Access Television Center For Archival Media Preservation. It was an intense yet fun exercise in bringing a 50 year old football game to life. First of all we had a 16mm analytical game film used by coaching staffs to examine football games. Shot on 16mm film by Leo Alexander Co. of Boston Ma. the film came into the possession of Carl Piermarini and Jack Celli in 1983 during the production of the Documentary Film "The Rivalry" since then it has been digitized in high def and the original stored in our vault until last year when Mr Gary Saucier came in with a reel to reel audio recording that his Dad made off of a Radio Broadcast of the 1969 game. Dave Svens, Tom Conry and Warren Muir did the original broadcast. It was our idea to synchronize the audio with the game film. It posed MANY challenges. Poor quality audio....Old Film... 20 minutes of game film and over two hours of audio..... What you are about to watch is an attempt at bringing this 1969 CLASSIC to life.... Hope you enjoy!
