Final Fight (SNES) - Slim Subway Smash (All Instrument Cover)

Here's the 2nd stage theme from Final Fight, released on the SNES in 1991 as a port of an arcade game of the same name released in 1989! This tune is evidently called Slim Subway Smash, go figure! In any case, this is a really cool tune that features some nice angular keyboard lines over a short melodic vamp that resolves in a large, orchestrated vamp that will hook the listener if the first half of the tune didn't!

For tracking, this was another tune where it becomes strongly evident that some pieces of music are well suited for guitar, and some are much more well suited for keyboards. The synth lines I played on this tune were quite manageable with some rehearsal on keyboards, but I couldn't find anyway to play them at tempo on guitar, in spite of about 25 more years of experience of playing guitar!

I really enjoyed learning this tune, it had been on my mind to cover for years, but it wasn't until the middle of last year when I saw that tutorial form Dwelling of Duels on how to decompile SNES music that it finally became possible!
