Undefeated With a Guard Split Team… Without Ever Using Guard Split?!

Sometimes the best strategies don’t go according to plan… and still win everything.
I returned to my Guard Split strategy, this time with Diancie leading the charge instead of Carbink. The idea was simple: split defenses and outlast. The reality? We never even got to use Guard Split until the very end — and it didn’t work out the way I thought.

But here’s the twist… this team of Diancie, Entei, Abomasnow, Hariyama, and more went completely undefeated in high ladder matches. Every battle was against tough competition in the Top 500, and yet this off-meta squad surprised everyone (including me).
