Silent Hiking: 3 Days in the White Carpathians. Fjällräven Campfire Event

At the end of August 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in an event organized by Fjällräven. Along with over a hundred other participants, we hiked for three days in the White Carpathians (Bílé Karpaty) on the Slovak-Czech border. This range is a relatively low-elevation part of the Carpathians, with vast meadows and beautiful deciduous forests.

The route began on the Slovak side in Stará Myjava and ran along the border to the highest peak of the range, Velká Javořina (970 m). Then, descending into the Czech Republic, we finished in the beautifully situated town of Bojkovice.

In my film, I embrace the aesthetics of silent hiking, opting for a style where no words are spoken.
