This video is not a review video, just me talking about my build process and main PC selection. It is also not high quality as I missed talking about the case and SSD, which I will briefly talk about now. I decided a while back to explore mini-ITX builds and I started off with the Hyte Revolt 3.
I didn't really talk about the case much, but it was a great first case and it came with a power supply. There's review videos on the internet if you are interested more. If this case is on sale and with the power supply, I would recommend. Otherwise, it is on the larger side of mini-ITX builds. With its large size comes capabilities. It can fit HDDs and SSDs near the power supply, and it doesn't require a riser cable.
I also don't have a GPU in this build. That's because I have an old one (GTX 1070) that I put in afterwards. This case lets you fit any card on the market, even the wider older like the one I have. I have also paired it with a RTX 3070 that is larger than 310mm before with no issues. No complaints on sizing here.
The IOs are on the bottom of the PC, which can be inconvenient but helps with cable management. I prefer it at the back after using it for an extended time, so I won't opt for bottom IO again.
I did not spend nearly as much time as I wanted to edit this, but I also had the footages long ago. I'll be sure to edit after recording promptly so then I can have a better video for future content. I also didn't have the opportunity to take photos of the build in its full glorious form.
I also didn't talk about the SSD. If there's one thing to say it's don't cheap out on it. The SSD I used ended up having issues so I had to RMA it. I ended up going with a WD Black SSD and there have been no issues since then.
