This was the #CWtrafficNet that was referenced in yesterday’s video of the ending of the digital voice portion of the “Frozen Prairie” ARES Exercise. If you havent listened to a CW traffic net before, (I haven’t listened to very many) you might find the usage of some of the #CWprosigns and #Qcodes interesting. In this clip you’ll hear / GM / BN / AA / BK / BT / FB / AR / ES / PSE / AS / R or RR / K / TKS / DE / 73 / and possibly a few more. As far as Q-codes , you’ll hear / QRU / QRV / QSL / QTC / QRM / and (I believe anyway) a couple of QN codes: / QNX / and / QNI / - I’m sure I’ve probably missed some. There were a few strings of characters that went over my head, but the gist of the net was easy enough to follow. Anyway, I so rarely listen to a CW net like this for long - but eventually I might try to get involved in CW traffic nets, so observing the flow of these nets is interesting to me. #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #IllinoisTrafficNet #KE0FFTcw #MorseCode #MorseCodeNet
