Rotating iPad drawing desk. Animators/artists, good for Callipeg, Procreate, Roughanimator. How to.

Anti-slip update. I noticed that a lazy Susan I used was really smooth and slippery and when I pushed down on the top corner of my iPad to rotate it. The iPad slid on the metal disk which was annoying (see 12 secs into the video). My easy fix went as follows (not shown in the video): I positioned the iPad exactly on the disk how I'd like it to stay. Then I laid a pencil on the disk, laying against the bottom of the iPad (make sure the case is on the iPad and folded back into the usable position). Then I used some Gorilla tape to tape the pencil in place on the disk, being careful to get the tape tightly around the pencil, and of course moving the iPad out of the way when wrapping the tape over the pencil and down onto the disk again. This formed a nice little shelf that prevents slippage. Just for overkill, I also then smeared a thin amount of Liquid Nails glue over the metal disk where the iPad would rest on it and let that dry overnight before putting the iPad back onto the disk. That made the metal disk very grippy indeed, and along with the little shelf I cannot make the iPad slip out of position on the disk no matter how hard I try! I'm using the board mostly in the up against the wall position right now, so I also shaved off the 90 degreed edge of the foamcore where it jams into your upper thighs for comfort. End of anti-slip update!
Call me old fashioned, but I like rotating the thing I'm drawing on rather than pinching the canvas. So I came up with this take on the old animation disk cut into the desk, but for the iPad. I thought I'd show you how I made it. Kind of like a How To video. I like using it with Procreate and Callipeg, but I imagine it would work great with Affinity Designer, Adobe Fresco, Pixelmator, Sketch Club, Roughanimator, Animation Desk, Looom, Animatic, Adobe products and more.
