Sunandas Performing Arts Center presents "Arpanam 4" and Indian classical dance festival by the young dynamic generation dancer Shruti Gopal .
Shruti is the disciple of Late Guru Smt. Padmini Ramachandran and presently trains under Guru Bragha Bessel and Shri Mavin Khoo. She is the artistic director at Upadhye school of dance and is an integral part of Punyah Dance Company headed by Shri Parshwanath Upadhye . She is a graded artist of Doordarshan and has performed at various prestigious festivals in India and abroad. She was part of an Indian Delegation to China under the Cultural Exchange Programme of Ministry of Human Resources, Govt. of India in 2011.She was conferred with the title “Aarsha Kala Choodamani” by Swami Dayananda Saraswati at New Jersey, USA in 2012. Apart from being an intergral part of Punyah Dance company’s productions Shruti has also worked with various companies including Rasika Arts academy, headed by shri Kiran Subramanyam, Raadhakalpa headed by Smt Rukmini Vijaykumar, Aru Sri Arts centre, Sri Lanka and the like.
