When you set up your account YouTube Automatically sets you up to Private
For Channels to know you are Subscribed to their Channel Your Account needs to PUBLIC
*note – making your account public will only show your channels that you are subscribed! This Change does NOT change your Videos ..if you want your videos to be public you need to do that on each video
