Virginia Beach to Montgomery, AL: The First Day of a Cross-Country Road Trip in Real Time

In June 2021, I took my Dad with me on an Ultimate Road Trip across the country. This was the first trip my Dad and I took together since I was a kid, and we drove along the Gulf Coast, through the Big Bend of Texas, visited Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego, drove along the Pacific Coast Highway, Death Valley, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Deadwood, Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, and Badlands. The entire trip was 15 days, traveling over 7,400 miles through 26 states!
The first day was a 750-mile drive from Virginia Beach to Montgomery, AL.
There is a chunk of footage that did not get recorded for some reason between Spartanburg, SC and just beyond the South Carolina/Georgia state line (about 80 miles/less than 90 minutes of footage).
