ROCK SLIDE Nufenen Pass FULL RIDE // Switzerland // KTM 1290 Super Adventure S

This is a full ride to the top of the Nufenen Pass in Switzerland and a part of the ride down. The Nufenen Pass was blocked for traffic that day - as we learned later due to a large rock slide caused by the heavy rains just a few days before we arrived. We tried our luck and went up the pass and went through the barrier. 8 out of 10 times you can pass a road block on the motorcycle - however, it was a weekday and we ran into the construction crew that was cleaning up the rock slide. Initially the guys were not very amused to see us but we stayed calm and friendly and explained to him that going back would have meant 1.5 hour detour - they were nice enough to let us pass.

The Nufenen Pass (Passo della Novena in Italian) is a high mountain pass in the Swiss Alps, situated at an elevation of 2.478m (8,130ft) above the sea level. For more information on the pass see:
