In the last few days, I have been very sick and uploaded unfinished videos as a mistake. I want to apologize for this. I corrected them now (for example, cutting the part of me clapping in the camera for synchronization 🤣)

Back to today's piece:
This is one of my favorite Ilahis. I recorded my very own version of the melody in my solo album. Check it out if you like!    • Fuoco d'Amore  
In my version, I connected this melody with the famous incipit of Rumi's Masnavi.

The original text of this ilahi is by Yunus Emre, though. As always, I would be grateful to read a proper translation!

Âh nice bir uyursun, uyanmaz mısın?
Ah, how long do you sleep? are you ever gonna wake up?

Again, like in yesterday's lyric, the beautiful methaphor of us humans, asleep, unaware. Are we going to wake up and understand the meaning of life and the very presence of God?

Âh nice bir uyursun, uyanmaz mısın?
Göçtü kervan kaldık dağlar başında.
Çağrışır tellallar inanmaz mısın?
Göçtü kervan, kaldık dağlar başında.

Emr-i hac göçeli hayli zamandır,
Muhammed (s.a.v) cümleye dindir, imandır.
Delilsiz gidilmez, yollar yamandır,
Göçtü kervan, kaldık dağlar başında.

Bülbül olup dost bağında ötegör
İyi amellerle yükün tutagör
Efendimin kervanına yetegör
Göçtü kervan kaldık dağlar başında.
