This How To video shows how to achieve a weather tight seal on a 1978 Datsun 280Z without having to slam your door. I originally tried the Precision brand weatherstripping but the door would not close without slamming. Several forums convinced me to use McMasterCarr #1120A331 Water- & Weather-Rst Rubber Push-on Seal with Bulb on Side, Hollow, for 3/16" Edge, 5/8" High. 25 feet is enough to do both doors for about $50.
