Brisbane Flood - Helicopter Video FEB 28th 2022

Documenting the 2022 Brisbane Floods from helicopter. Seeing it all from above was bewildering. We hope everyone is safe.

First minute is around the CBD
1:00 - Southbank parklands beach (in 2011 the beach was completely submerged)
1:10 - Coronation Drive/Milton Ferry Terminal
1:19 - Milton. Just as it switches from the Milton ferry terminal you can see Park Road bottom right corner of screen and the tall dark grey tower middle right of screen is The Milton Brisbane.
1:24 - Auchenflower - larger block of buildings bottom middle of screen is the Wesley Hospital.
1:29 - Indooroopilly (shopping centre bottom middle of screen) looking towards Chelmer.
1:41 - Indooroopilly Bridge - Ambrose Treacy College in the bottom right
1:49 - looking south across Fig Tree Pocket; Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is towards top middle of screen, stretch of brown/water bottom middle of screen is Rainbow Forest Park.
1:55 - Jindalee (Centenary Freeway under water on the Jindalee side - in 2011 the entire bridge was under water...)
2:00 - Jindalee Homemaker centre on one side, Jindalee Golf Course underwater on the other...
2:04 - pan across Westlake
2:26 - Pinjarra Hills on the right of the river
2:29 - Westlake. Wendouree Cres running left-right, 2 cul-de-sacs coming off it are Menindee Ct and Meadowbank Ct.
2:34 - back again to Jindalee Golf bottom of screen and Jindalee Homemaker centre middle of screen.
2:38 - tip of Fig Tree Pocket where river bends. Roundabout towards top right of screen is towards end of Fig Tree Pocket Rd
2:44 - Oxley. Middle of screen that's under water is the Oxley Golf Range. Top left of screen is Rocklea. Mid-top right of screen you can briefly see the Oxley Rd roundabout above the Ipswich Motorway. The strip of yellow to the left of that is the Oxley JB Hi-fi (and Good Guys in white next to it).
3:04 - those circular shapes bottom right corner of screen are part of the Urban Utilities Oxley Creek Water Reclamation Plant. Block of white buildings towards middle top of screen is Brisbane Marketplace (Rocklea Markets).
