This is a compilation of various model steam locomotives from my collection. Unlike the horns of modern day diesels, whistles of past steam locomotives were as diverse and different as the locomotives themselves. The various manufacturers did a terrific job in replicating the sound of some, if not the diversity. Some are brash, some are melodic, some are intimidating, some are haunting and all are nostalgic in their own way. This is made up of short videos shot through various stages of my model railway, the Smithville & Western.
