In this video I will show you How to make Buttercream Pine Cones.
These are great as a standalone cupcake or to add to a collection of Christmas buttercream cupcakes. They make really lovely Christmas decorations.
I start by adding white buttercream on the cupcake to simulate snow. Using piping tip 2A by Wilton to create the body of the cone.
I then begin to create the buttercream pine cone using tip 101 by Wilton.
I start at the top of the cone and work my way down. The strokes getting a little longer as I reach the bottom of the cone.
I generally include three pine cones on one cupcake. I like poinsettias for Christmas decorations as well.
So I finish off the overall effect of the cupcake with Christmas poinsettia decorations.
