Toyota said they were going to charge me $210 to install running boards on my truck. That didn't sound worth it at all. All you have to do is unscrew some bolts and then screw the running boards in with those bolts. I understand that people like to pay for services for convenience, but for this cost and how quick the job can be done it is essentially a scam at $210. Included in this video is full instruction on how to do this job yourself, safely, quick and easy. I encourage you to try this on your own instead of paying the shop to conduct the work.
