This video explains how to think about API Structure and Architecture while Designing any Integration Platform. These decisions play a major role during the 'Design' and 'Development' phases and largely avoid rework and redesigning once the implementation is completed.
These are common principles and guidelines and not Thumb Rules. The Architecture of the Integration Systems need to be flexible for the specific use-case scenarios and depends on the different APIs that will be developed and used under the organization for the significant time duration.
