In this video I am talking about an EXCHANGE SACRIFICE which is based mainly on the fact that the rooks are BAD and that they will stay BAD for the REST of the game. This often happens in closed position with the lack of pawn breaks and open files.

In this VIDEO I will give an EXAMPLE of that and explain a few IDEAS of how the side with an exchange down can finally improve their position and play for a win. Meanwhile the side with the rooks in condemned to passivity and can ONLY wait around and watch his opponent make progress.
