Michael Bolton - Making A SYMPHONY OF HITS (Episode 4) "Steel Bars"

I grew up listening to Bob Dylan as a kid so when I got a phone call to write with him, I thought it was a practical joke! But the song that came out of those two awesome sessions became a hit and one of my all time favorites.

It's an incredible experience having 60 plus symphony orchestra musicians playing these beautiful arrangements of some of my favorite songs. It brings so much more dimension to songs I've recorded, some I've written, a lot of them hits of mine but that I've been performing all around the world for about 35 years. Now I get to experience the width and breadth of the emotional content of the songs, transformed through this amazing group of arrangements that is this symphonic orchestra album. It’s truly a dream come true for me.

The album, A Symphony of Hits, debuted number #1 on the Billboard Classical Album Chart in 2019.
