We visited Lake Pichola in Udaipur recently, and it was absolutely stunning! The shimmering water surrounded by hills and palaces is like a postcard come to life. The boat ride to Jagmandir was a highlight, with breathtaking views of the City Palace and Monsoon Palace at sunset—pure magic! The lake’s calm vibe made it so relaxing. Local guides shared interesting stories about its history, adding to the charm. There are small stalls near the shore serving tasty snacks, which we loved while soaking in the scenery. The only downside? No elevator for nearby viewpoints, so climbing was tough for my parents. A few more shaded seating areas would’ve been nice too. Still, Lake Pichola is a must-visit for its beauty and serene atmosphere.
