MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this always garaged, documented one owner, previous California black plate, then Arizona 1976 Mercedes-Benz 450SE. This Milan Brown Benz defies its age and would be comfortable as a daily driver or weekend driver. Purchased new with only 616 miles from Jim Slemons Imports, Newport Beach, California.

The Mercedes-Benz The 450SE, then the most powerful model in the W116 (S-class) lineup, was awarded European Car of the Year in 1974. 1973 was the first model year of the W116 for the US market. Starting in 1975, the W116 was upgraded with a new fuel injection system to comply with revised exhaust emission standards in European markets.

Finished in Milan Brown Metallic (code 404), the paint job remains pretty much all original & unrestored, shows well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Front bumper has a good fit, with rubber over riders, the rear bumper (with the same over riders) has a excellent fit and finish that shows well. All trim pieces are present and have a brilliant finish with little hazing and or dent that we could see. The weather stripping is still very pliable with very little shrinkage or drying. The U.S. spec headlights and taillights are in very condition with no hazing or cracks. the original equipment wheels showed very little marring.

Inside, the rich Saffron (code 104) MB-Tex vinyl seats all look great with no major signs of wear visible. Excellent matching carpet throughout the interior. Overall the genuine wood looks great, however there is some finish lifting on the dash top by the windshield. The door panels and dashboard are matched perfectly with the exterior of the car and look fantastic. The headliner mirrors the rest of the cabin and completes the theme. The original steering wheel in great condition, power windows, power locks, power sunroof, however, the tachometer is inoperable. Becker Europa AM/FM radio,
