Join us LIVE from New York for this year’s Master Paintings & Sculpture Part I, presented in partnership with Qatar Executive. The auction is headlined by several Spanish paintings, including a newly discovered early El Greco; a lush still life by Luis Meléndez; and works by Jusepe de Ribera and Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. The sale also offers a particularly rich assortment of early Italian gold-ground paintings by artists including Nardo di Cione and Scheggia. Other works of note include two rediscovered self-portraits by Peter Paul Rubens and Anthony van Dyck, bringing these two titans of Northern Baroque art into direct dialogue.
