در این قسمت از «پیشه‌ها»، مهمان کارگاه صمیمی استاد فرشاد صدیقی هستیم؛ هنرمندی که سال‌هاست میان تار و پود فرش‌های کمیاب و ارزشمند ایران زندگی می‌کند.
لحن آرامش، دقت بی‌پایانش و آن وسواسی که روی هر گره دارد، آدم را یاد یک پزشک می‌اندازد؛ پزشکی که جانِ فرش‌ها را برمی‌گرداند.
جایی که رنگ‌های کهنه دوباره زنده می‌شوند، تارهای پوسیده نفس می‌کشند و نقش‌هایی که در حال فراموشی‌اند، یک‌بار دیگر خودشان را نشان می‌دهند.
اما پشت این زیبایی، حقیقت تلخی هم هست: فرش دست‌باف ایرانی امروز وضعیت خوبی ندارد.
کارگاه‌ها یکی‌یکی خاموش می‌شوند، مرمت‌گران قدیمی کم شده‌اند و بسیاری از فرش‌های ارزشمند، بی‌سرنوشت رها می‌شوند.
در چنین شرایطی، کار استاد صدیقی فقط ترمیم نیست؛ نجات یک میراث است.
هر فرشی که زیر دستان او جان می‌گیرد، بخشی از حافظه‌ی ایران را دوباره روشن می‌کند.

But behind this beauty lies a difficult truth: Iran’s handwoven carpet heritage is facing one of its toughest periods.
Traditional workshops are disappearing, master restorers are becoming fewer, and many valuable carpets are left neglected or lost.
In this landscape, Master Sedighi’s work is more than restoration — it’s the preservation of a cultural memory.
Every carpet revived under his hands keeps a part of Iran’s story alive.
