On our way back from Kuang Si Waterfall we came across a butterfly farm and decided to stop in. This project was initiated in January 2014 by 2 passionate Dutch people as home to Laos’ indigenous butterflies in a natural settings. The park is well worth a visit because it is not only a tourist attraction but also a research center that educates everyone about the many species of local butterflies as well as Laos’ nature. The entrance fee goes back into the community.
