Frankie is a multifaceted artist whose career spans nearly four decades in the global electronic music scene. Based in Berlin, he wears many hats: host, brand co-owner, booker, and the driving force behind Electric Monday, a weekly residency at the iconic KitKat Club. As a DJ, producer, label A&R, and music educator, Frankie continues to push boundaries in the industry.

Under his various monikers—Frankie Flowerz, Audio Royal, Das Deva, Mohan Das, and Hybrid Funk—Frankie has released music on esteemed labels like Funkhausmusic, Hypercolour, Crosstown Rebels, Om, Turbo, and Moodmusic. His journey began in 1999 with his debut on Blaou, and his discography includes a third LP, "Nightride" (2024), released on Funkhausmusic.

Having played over 7,000 sets since 1984, Frankie has performed across the globe in countries such as Malaysia, Germany, the UK, China, and beyond. His eclectic sets blend deep house, minimal, techno, boogie, and soulful grooves, drawing from a vast record collection influenced by everything from 50s R&B and jazz to funk and electronica.

Frankie’s legacy extends to Electric Monday, the party he co-founded with Ricardo Rodriguez in 2011. Starting at Roter Salon, the event grew to breathe life into Berlin’s Monday nightlife, finding a long-term home at KitKat Club in 2014. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, Electric Monday has become synonymous with unforgettable nights, diversity, and an inclusive atmosphere.

Over the years, Frankie has shared stages and collaborated with legendary artists such as Moodymann, Laurent Garnier, Theo Parrish, Carl Craig, LTJ Bukem, and Afrika Bambaata, cementing his reputation as a tastemaker in the industry.

Whether spinning records, mentoring upcoming talent, or curating events, Frankie continues to shape the underground music landscape with passion and authenticity.
