Elffor - Unholy Throne of Doom (full album, 2020)

For our final feature of this weeks’ Dungeon Synth Sunday, we present the latest album from Spanish atmospheric, epic dungeon black metal band Elffor (their 16th since 1998).

Unholy Throne of Doom is a sinisterly majestic marvel, seething with riffs and murky ambience, intricate details of delicate melodic lines, choral vocals, bagpipes, and many other flashes of inspiration.

Released by the band on CD in April, Repose Records are giving it their full LP treatment which an album of this scale and grandeur most assuredly deserves.
