They can at times feel an intense fear over losing them, being rejected or leaving them and can behave in a jealous manner. In this video Darren Magee outlines the nature of the relationship, different from a best friend, some of the dynamics in the relationship, the dangers of both parties being exploited or manipulated, but also ways in which they can have a healthy, mutually supportive relationship.
