Ismail Ali Osman is 47 years father of six based in Dayaha village 20km away from Erigavo, the capital of the Sanag region. For the last 15 years, Ismail’s life and his family have been depending on his farm, 80% of the population in his area are farmers like him, while the small remaining amount generates their income through working as drivers and pastoralists. Ismail was one of the beneficiaries that received seeds and provision of tillage hours in addition he participates in cash work activity which was funded by German Humanitarian Assistance and implemented by Oxfam Novib Somaliland office.
