In our many rural areas of India, farmers face difficulties in irrigating their fields due to irregular electricity supply, high diesel costs, and water wastage from manual irrigation. This leads to low crop yield, high expenses, and overuse of groundwater.

Solution:
Our project provides a sustainable and affordable solution — an Automatic Solar Powered Irrigation System.

The system uses solar energy to power a water pump, which automatically irrigates the field based on the soil’s moisture level.

When the soil becomes dry, a sensor activates the pump; when the soil is wet, the system turns off automatically.

The entire model is portable, runs on clean solar energy, and uses sprinklers for efficient water use.
