Detroit Golf Club is going through a restoration lead by Tyler Rae Design of the 1916 opened North Course, bringing back boldness, contours, and updating essential infrastructure.
I can't find the right words to describe the transformation of the golf course during the last few months adequately. So, I speak with Jim Ryan Jr. and Tim Lewis of Tyler Rae Design about the vision, process, and renewed character of the course. Because they are wildly good at their jobs and played a significant part in getting the restoration to where it is today. Many thanks to them for sharing their time with me.
