BATHTIME for MAMA BEAR & 3 CUBS

This sweet family swung by the tub during their last two visits. This Mama Bear really took to the water immediately, and the ball, of course. I love how her little ones would teeter on the edge and sometimes fall in. And I love hearing the cubs' running commentary in the background. (There's even more bear cub running commentary in the 2nd video.) Maybe someday Mama will allow another cub in the water with her for longer period, but seems to me, most bears get jealous of that prime spot in the water and are slow to cede territory or relinquish the tub or ball altogether.

In case this family comes back to visit again, we're working on names. I love the suggestion that we call the Mama Bear, "Blossom." Also loved the idea that the cub names could have a coffee theme. A girl cub (if there is one) could be called, "Melitta", perhaps. I need to do some close-up viewing soon to start trying to discern one cub from another. I'm really wanting to name one of the cubs, "Kona." And I suppose there should be a Mocha, too. Why not?
