Meet The Feelies - Demo and Live Recordings from a Proposed First Album, 1977-1978

In the Ork Records: New York, NY box set, there is a Feelies paste-up graphic. It includes what appears to be an LP track listing. I thought it would be interesting to fantasize what that album would have sounded like had the Feelies recorded it during their late-1970s Ork Records years. Using this track listing as a guide, I pieced together the few early Feelies demos that exist for public consumption, along with the earliest live versions I could find of the other tracks. By the time Crazy Rhythms came out a few years later, most of these songs went through extensive changes; I wanted to capture the earliest public versions I've also thrown in the live version of "My Little Red Book" from their Numero Group 7" as an "encore" of sorts.
