Many new grants were awarded this season. Our goal is to provide a springboard for young talents, as we want to promote the dance scene and especially the talents at all levels.

25 selected pieces were invited to the GDU Gala and showed their skills on stage to an international jury of experts in the Luise-Albertz-Halle. We thank you ALL for this unforgettable and emotional evening ! #seeyoumarch2024

Since the 20th edition of the German Open ASDUI, a gala event was created by the German Dance Unit organization and @tomekkdance for special choreographies.

The selection criteria have nothing to do with the placement of the championship. It is rather about originality of the pieces. To have a special recognition value is an advantage.

On the evening itself, an independent jury consisting of dancers, educators, professors and directors of the international dance scene will evaluate the performances. They will award the grants to the winners of the GDU Gala event.
