Very nice 2005 Mercedes-Benz R230 SL55 AMG for sale. This 1-owner California car was purchased new at Calabasas Motor Cars on August 15th, 2004, finished in 723 Pewter with 281 AMG Charcoal interior. It is highly optioned with Parktronic, Active Ventilated Seats, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Bi-Xenon headlamps, and Keyless Go for a total window sticker price of $129,130. It has been kept indoors since new and includes books, both sets of keys a clear California title, an original window sticker, all original purchase paperwork, a Carfax report along with 100+ pages of service records showing constant attentive maintenance throughout its life available at the listing link above.

The hand-built AMG 5,439cc 24-valve supercharged V8 starts and runs perfectly producing an exhilarating 493 horsepower at 6,100 RPM. The 5-speed automatic transmission includes manual mode with AMG SpeedShift technology and the high-performance AMG braking system with sport suspension provides incredible braking and handling. This R230 is nothing short of thrilling to drive.

The exterior shows well and the paint has a nice gloss. The trim, emblems, glass, and lenses are in excellent condition along with the factory chromed, 5-spoke AMG wheels wrapped in a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports, P285/35 ZR18s up-front and P255/40 ZR18's at the rear. Carfax shows a minor accident to the right rear area of the car in 2016 that was repaired so well that I would not have become aware of it without the report. Details are included in the records.

The interior is equally impressive with its AMG Charcoal interior and all systems are in good working order including ice-cold air conditioning, a perfectly functioning hardtop, and a great-sounding Bose sound system making it very comfortable for even the longest drives.
