A joint Seed Demonstration Project was carried out in Mosisedi on 21 Decemeber 2023 by Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board - BAMB in collaboration with various seed companies and other stakeholders; Capstone Seeds Botswana SeedCo CrossCorn Pty Zamseed Botswana Agrizor Syngenta Products, Omnia and African Agriculture.
The aim of the project was to plant Maize seed varieties found at BAMB and the participating seed companies for performance evaluation during the ploughing season on 10 hectares of land at the Mosisedi farm.
-Extension Officers from the Ministry of Agriculture we taken on a tour and demonstration to appreciate the exercise.
