October is in full swing. The gorgeous metamorphosis of leaves means the spooky season is upon us. So I decided to throw a Halloween Afternoon Tea party for my friends to inaugurate its celebration.

Сlassic British afternoon tea was my main menu inspiration. However, instead of neat treats, I’ll make mine look as creepy and spooky as possible.

Hopefully, this calm ASMR cooking vlog will give you ideas for your own Halloween-themed celebrations. As there are very few things better than treating your favorite people to a little feast.

Ingredients for the recipes featured in this silent vlog
Moist and spongy chocolate cupcakes:
350g flour
270g sugar
70g cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup cold coffee
1 cup buttermilk
225ml vegetable oil
3 eggs

Cream cheese frosting:
200ml heavy cream
400g cream cheese
3 tbsp icing sugar

Egg salad sandwich:
rye bread
3 eggs
scallions
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon of mayo
freshly ground pepper

Cucumber sandwich:
toast bread
fresh cucumber
dill
cream cheese

Deviled eggs “Eyes”:
dill
cream cheese
3 egg white halves
ketchup and olives for decoration

Deviled eggs “Pumpkins”:
3 whole egg yolks
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
turmeric
sweet paprika
a dollop of mayo
scallions and smoked paprika for decoration

“Eyes” appetizer:
small mozzarella balls
cured meat
olives
ketchup
