ChinnyVision - Ep 569 - An Hour Of Amstrad CPC Game Reviews

I review Amstrad CPC for an hour without notes or preparation. There's approximatly 40 games here, all of which make me smile in one way or another. This is not a list of the best games, an A to Z of Amstrad CPC games or even games I suggest you play. In some way or other all these games are special to me. I owned nearly all of them back in the day and a few of them are more recent discoveries that just make me glad to be a CPC owner. And Pacmania. Sorry, watching all this back while it gives me happy memories there is no way you play the CPC version over the Speccy 128k. Sorry!

This is my response to the AI slop turning up on Youtube from people who care very little about retro gaming other than they might get a potential audience and some ad revenue. They post screen captured emulated content from OBS, rip other peoples videos and use AI generated descriptions and even AI voices. All this floods out the genuine creators on here. Horrible.

All the footage here is from a real Amstrad CPC 6128 and nearly all of it has been captured bespoke for this video.

As I say it is not a list of the best CPC games. Many of these games WILL be better on other systems. But you might like to at least try some of these games out to see if they make you smile as much as they make me smile.
