James came to us to make him a set of custom exhaust manifold gaskets for his big power build he is creating at home.
His manifolds had been made big to allow more gases to escape which obviously makes that little bit more power but creates the issue that normal gaskets just don’t fit anymore.
So custom is the only option.
Rich set about the task making paper copies before tracing them onto the copper sheet used for the gasket, copper is a better, stronger material for exhaust gaskets and is a lot more durable than the standard pressed metal type.
Once the tracing is done on the copper sheet, we trace the shape using our @ArcDroidCNC pen, which transfers it into the ArcDroids software.
What an amazing piece of kit it is and a true time saver in any workshop.
Once all setup the ArcDroid does the rest cutting out the safe with the plasma cutter.
A bit of tidying up after and James has his gaskets.
